You will learn:
  • How executive function processes affect academic success.
  • Specific ways to help your students develop metacognitive  awareness.
  • How to embed effective executive function strategies into your day to day curriculum.
  • How to engage students more actively in your classrooms.
  • Specific strategies for teaching students how to shift flexibly and how to set goals. 
Keynote Speaker:  Lynn Meltzer, Ph.D. 

Plenary sessions will be led by Kalyani Krishnan, M.A., Wendy Stacey, M.S., Katelyn Kurkul, M.A., and Donna Kincaid, M.Ed.

 

The conference will include hands-on activities that will translate directly into the classroom.  You will leave with a binder of executive function strategies that can be used in your classroom on Monday morning.

Educators who complete this conference will be eligible for
10 professional development points (PDPs)!


Registration fee includes strategy binder, continental breakfast and lunch.

 

Register 4 or more people to get a discounted fee of $275 per person.  Each person must register individually and note the names in their group in the comment section.  Fee amounts will be adjusted by the ResearchILD registrar.
