"Shut Up About Your Perfect Kid!" - On Wednesday, May 5th, 2010 at 7:00 pm in the Junior High Library, the AB SpEd PAC in conjunction with the school district is pleased to announce that we will be co-hosting authors, Patty Konjoian and Gina Gallagher. Patty and Gina grew up in Maynard and are raising children with Asperger's Syndrome and Bipolar Disorder respectively. Their presentation (and book) are about their journey through childhood and adulthood including what they've learned through their "imperfect" children in a perfection crazed society. Both their book and presentation are a compilation of humorous, heartwarming stories which encapsulate the struggles and triumphs of kids and their parents. Their goal is to inform the world about their beautifully "imperfect" children. Come join us for a fun and heartwarming evening.
