Teasing & Bullying at
School: What Every Parent Needs to Know at 7:00 pm
This event is being co-sponsored by Pupil Services and the AB SpEd PAC. The
title of Ms. Mullin's presentation is "Bullying & Teasing at School: What Every
Parent Needs to Know." This two-hour presentation is geared towards the parents
of regular and special education children in grades PK-12. In addition, we
invite school personnel and community members to join us for this informative
evening.
Parent Networking from 6:30-7:00 pm
Come meet and socialize with other parents in the Acton and Boxborough school
districts prior to the presentation.
Bake Sale Following Bullying Presentation

Nancy Mullin's Bio
Nancy Mullin, M.Ed., is the Executive Director of Bullying Prevention, Inc. She
previously served as the Director of both the Project on Teasing and Bullying
(2000-2008) and the Preschool Empathy Project (1998-2008) at the Wellesley
Centers for Women. She has been actively involved in projects concerned with
curriculum development, teacher training, consultation and research. She has
published works that focus on bringing research and best practices about
bullying prevention into schools and that promote awareness about the negative
effects that bullying and related gender role stereotypes have on both school
climate and student performance. Ms. Mullin is also a Training Director for the
Olweus Bullying Prevention Group, providing national training-of-trainers in
North America, training and support for state-wide networks, and training and
implementation support to schools in New England.
