Down Syndrome
Parent Group Presents “Yelling Doesn’t Work” –
What you can
do to help your child comply at home and in the classroom using
positive behavior supports. This event will take place
Wednesday, May
16th
from
7:00-9:00 PM
at
St. Anne’s Church Hall
(Father Smith Center) located at 130 Boston Turnpike (Rte. 9E),
Shrewsbury, MA
(right after Dunkin Donuts at White City). This workshop provides
insight into why a child misbehaves and how changing your behavior
will in turn change theirs. Functional Assessments, which are at the
heart of a Positive Behavior Support Plan, are discussed at length
and sample plans are provided. This workshop will be presented by
Rebecca Goniwich, in collaboration with The Federation for Children
with Special Needs. Please
