Parenting a Special Needs Child
Presentation and Discussion

Parenting a Special Needs Child: Issues and Practical Solutions will be the topic of the SpED PAC meeting at 7:15pm on  Wednesday, February 25th, 2009 at Nashoba Regional HS in Bolton.  The evening will combine a presentation and discussion facilitated by Mary Keefe, MSW of Help for Couples in Acton. Topics include  How to Promote Resiliency in Your Child, Your Marriage and the Family.  Ms. Keefe has been practicing psychotherapy and marital counseling for 30 years and has worked with many parents of special needs children.  Parenting a special needs child can call for different skills and a greater degree of resourcefulness.  Come hear ideas on promoting resiliency, share thoughts and experiences of your own with other parents.  Refreshments will be served.
