AB SpEd PAC Annual Meeting &
Election of Officers

Please save the date! On May 14th at 7:00 PM the AB SpEd PAC will hold its Annual Meeting and Election of Officers in the Junior High School Library. Come hear what we've been up to this year, meet other families, and let us know what your thoughts and priorities are for the PAC in the coming year. We want to hear from you about what has worked well for your family and what areas we can help improve in the district.

As you know since Kelly and Paul moved in January we have had two officer vacancies - one PAC Co-Chair position and one Treasurer position. In addition, I think it might be helpful to have 2 Secretaries who could share the roll so that if one person can't attend a particular meeting, the other can fill in. (Any of the PAC Officer positions can be shared by multiple people to lighten the load.) So, if you've ever thought about getting involved in the organization, we have tasks both large and small with which we need help - from making copies to getting PR to local papers to task force volunteers or officer positions.

We all know how important it is to be involved in our children's education - both for our children and for the school district. If we come together as parents we can learn from each other, offer support to one another, and join our voices to share parent priorities, interests and recommendations with the school district so that all special education children benefit.
