The Skills Necessary for Developing Friendships - March 1st. This presentation
is part of the Landmark Saturday Series. It will take place on March 1st from
9:00 am - 11:30 am in the High School Dining Room. Rick Irving, LICSW, will
focus on children, elementary through preadolescence, who struggle with learning
disabilities. He will look at how children with various learning styles
interpret their world and their relationships. Concrete, very teachable skills
that can help children learn ways to interact more successfully and increase
their social confidence and status will be delineated. Helping your child manage
emotions in a way that supports successful interactions with peers will also be
covered. You will leave with a set of tools to help your child. If you have
questions, contact Irena Sinclair at (978) 927-1456 or irenasinclair@comcast.net.
