Collaborative Problem Solving: February 28th, March 6th, March 13th. Understanding and Parenting Easily Frustrated, Chronically Inflexible Children - Are you tired of "walking on eggshells" around your child? Would you like a calmer household? Are you sick of sticker charts? Join us for a 3-Part Seminar Series with Kathy Regan, RN, BSN, MHA. Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS) is a practical, comprehensive approach aimed at reducing adversarial interactions between children and parents. Developed by Dr. Ross Greene, author of "The Explosive Child", CPS is founded on the principle that 'children do well if they can' and that many explosive behavior patterns may be rooted in delayed development in the domains of flexibility and frustration tolerance. This 3-Part Seminar Series will take place Thursday Evening from 7:00pm - 8:30pm at the Therapeutic Learning Center located at 500 Chapman Street in Canton. On Feb. 28th the Basics of CPS will be discussed. On March 6th Understanding Pathways and Picking Your Battles will be discussed. And on March 13th Scenarios and Problem Solving will be discussed. The cost is $25.00 per person/session. For more information and to register call:781-821-9955 or email info@therapeuticlearningctr.com.
