Making Sense of Our Kids' Behavior: December 11th. Kid's behaviors can be a
particular challenge for the parents of children with special needs. How can
parents identify and respond to their children's strengths, as well as their
problems? How can parents work with their children's stages of development
instead of trying to resist them? Join the Belmont Special Education Advisory
Council as internationally acclaimed speaker, author and childhood expert Dr.
Lawrence Kutner shares his insights and strategies. Dr. Kutner is the author of
five books on child development and parent-child communication. He's the
co-founder and co-director of the Harvard Medical School Center for Mental
Health and Media, and is on the psychiatry faculty at Harvard Medical School and
Massachusetts General Hospital. We will meet on December 11th from 7:30 - 9:00
p.m. in the Chenery Middle School Faculty Dining Room located at 95 Washington
Street in Belmont. Free, open to all and disability accessible. For more
information, contact Amanda Green at (617) 484-2218 or amanda.green63@
