Experts Talk About Alternative ADHD Treatments
– With the FDA adding warnings to the stimulant medications often used to
treat ADHD, many parents are interested in getting expert advice about
complementary and alternative treatments for the disorder. The Sudbury
Special Education Advisory Council (SSEAC) is sponsoring a talk by three
ADHD experts, Dr. Edward Hallowell and Rebecca Shafir of the Hallowell
Center for Cognitive and Emotional Health in Sudbury, and Wynford Dore,
founder of the worldwide Dore Centers. The talk, “The Latest in
Non-Medicinal Treatments for ADHD”, will be given on Wednesday, November
8th at the Curtis Middle School Auditorium in Sudbury, from 7:00 –
9:30pm. The Sudbury Middle School is located at 22 Pratts Mill Road in
Sudbury. There is no charge for the talk or for a reception to meet the
speakers from 6:15 – 7:00p.m. For more information, please visit
