IEP Workshop – The Framingham Special Education Parent Advisory Council is offering an educational advocacy workshop titled “An IEP for My Child” on Monday, Dec. 4th from 7:00-9:00 pm. Speakers from the Federation for Children with Special Needs (FCSN) will present this class in English and Portuguese (in separate rooms) at the Woodrow Wilson Elementary School located at 169 Leland Street in Framingham. Every child with a disability who receives special education services must have an Individual Education Plan (IEP). This workshop takes parents step-by-step through the development of the IEP including how to articulate a Vision, using evaluations to write annual measurable goals and how to measure their child’s progress.
